The Beginning of an Era- #VIZXFunDay

Company get together held at our main offices, Britam Towers, 2nd October, 2021

The Day That Was #VIZXFunDay

On October 2, 2021, VIZX International Staffing Solutions held a company get-together. This was to celebrate the recruiters and support staff who have been resilient and working against the odds, 18 months into a pandemic. Staffing and talent acquisition have faced tremendous disruption, both in the recruitment process and in dealing with candidates.

Speaking during the awards, VIZX CEO, Mr. John Mamboleo, noted that hardworking employees deserve to be appreciated for the role they have played in ensuring the great success of the company.

He challenged employees to guard their independence and resist attempts to be externally discouraged, while recruiting.

“It is a period during which we express appreciation to you, our team, for the applaudable service and the role you play in our company. There is a need for each department—recruiters in pods, compliance, communication and lead generation, and the box office to support and strengthen a vibrant work environment.”

Individuals from various pods and departments were recognized for excelling in their work.

Boniface Chisutia, ranked as the number one recruiter in the Kenya team, was awarded for his good job and dedication to the company.

Brian Kaburu was also acknowledged for his efforts in rising to the top.

“The reason we award these winners is because we want them to excel. We want them to be the best at where they practice. These days, we have recruiters appreciating their space and working harder. Last quarter, we acknowledged Rose, Joyce, and Minnie for their commendable work. It is encouraging to have the team realize they do better when they are well placed. We are here at the end of every quarterly to award you when you excel.”

“With the new digital age, competition has become harder for our work, but we congratulate those who have won, and VIZX will continue honoring your achievements,” John said.

The Eagles’ pod leader, Joyce, said that the awards are meant to encourage the VIZX staff to go above and beyond.

“We have 8 winners from an initial pool of over 20. Pod leaders have spent day and night bringing out the best. There is a lot of technological revolution, the pandemic, fake applications, and flaky candidates, but during all this, we have seen high-quality work output from the team,” he concluded.

Ruth Kimutai was named the consistent recruiter with the most dedication.

In the VIZX Compliance department, Kalekye was recognized. In Livewell, Jessica and other recruiters including Faith, Judy, Dan and Tom were awarded with shopping vouchers each.

Today, as the competition for talent acquisition, work culture, and ethic escalates, the ways organizations show that they value their employees have become more important than ever. Thus, there is a need to work smart, believe in your potential, and nail every moment of your role for the good of the organization.
